Many pilgrims enter the Haramain through one gate and exit through another - forgetting where they left their shoes. Others return to find their shoes have been moved, pushed aside, or lost in the crowd.

It may sound like a small thing, but in that moment… it can feel overwhelming. Being barefoot under the scorching sun, trying to find something so simple yet so needed.
